Galleria Lighting is closing its doors in Mexico after selling $4.3 million worth of fixtures

Galleria lighting in Mexico will close its doors at the end of the month, the company announced Thursday.

The sale was made through a consortium of local companies and the state-owned electricity company, Pemex, said in a statement.

Galleria said in its statement that it would remain in the country as a museum for visitors and local residents and that it will remain in operation through the end, which is March 31.

The company said it planned to make the sale available through the internet through a website, and that the company will continue to operate a website for Galleria members.

Galleries in Mexico are also selling to other foreign investors, the statement said.
